Nadepad Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Nadepad collects no personal information whatsoever.

• There is no account, sign-up, or login.
• We do not obtain your name, email address, location, or any identifier.
• There is no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.

2. Touch Input Handling

• Nadepad reads raw touch coordinates from your phone and converts them into mouse movements on your PC.
• All processing happens locally on your PC. Touch data is used only to move the cursor in real time and is never stored.
• Nadepad does not access your phone's camera, microphone, photos, files, contacts, or messages.

3. How Your Phone and PC Are Connected

Nadepad communicates with your phone through the Android Debug Bridge (ADB). Two connection modes are available, and they differ only in how the same data is carried.

USB (default)

The connection is carried entirely inside the USB cable. No network is involved.

Wi-Fi (optional)

When you choose Wi-Fi, the same data travels over your local network instead of the cable. Both devices must be on the same network.

• Touch coordinates travel across your local network. Nothing is sent to the internet, to us, or to any cloud service.
• Nadepad does not open any listening port on your PC. The listening socket is opened by Android's own ADB daemon on your phone. Your phone accepts a connection only from a computer you have authorized, either by approving its key on the phone or by entering a pairing code.
• If you connect using Android 11's Wireless debugging with a pairing code, the connection is protected by TLS. If you instead switch an existing USB connection over to Wi-Fi, the connection is authenticated but not encrypted, so please treat it as you would any other unencrypted traffic on your own network.
• Nadepad saves the Wi-Fi address you last used, so that it can reconnect automatically if the connection drops. Switching to Wi-Fi also turns on wireless ADB on the phone itself, and that stays on after you close Nadepad.
• You can undo both at any time with "Turn off Wi-Fi connection" in the Nadepad tray menu. It forgets the saved address, stops the automatic reconnection, and turns wireless ADB back off on your phone.

4. Companion App on Your Phone

To keep the screen active and absorb touches so that stray gestures (such as the edge "back" swipe or the notification shade) do not interfere while you use Nadepad, Nadepad can install a small companion app ("blackboard") onto your phone. This installation happens only after you agree to a confirmation dialog.

• The companion app is developed by us. It declares no Android permissions, has no network capability, and collects no data.
• You can remove it at any time from the Nadepad tray menu ("Remove phone app"), or continue using Nadepad without it.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

Because Nadepad collects no information, there is nothing to share with any third party.

6. Bundled Open-Source Software

For the connection to your phone, Nadepad bundles the Android Debug Bridge (adb, from the Android Open Source Project), redistributed under the Apache License 2.0. ADB is the transport Nadepad uses to talk to your phone. It does not send your information to us or to any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

Nadepad collects no personal information, so it can be used safely regardless of age.

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page.

1. 収集する情報

Nadepad は個人情報を一切収集しません。

• アカウント登録・サインアップ・ログインの仕組みはありません。
• 氏名・メールアドレス・位置情報・その他の識別子を取得しません。
• 解析（アナリティクス）、テレメトリ、トラッキングの類は一切行いません。

2. タッチ入力の取り扱い

• Nadepad はスマートフォンから生のタッチ座標を読み取り、PC上でマウス操作に 変換します。
• 処理はすべてお客様のPC内で行われます。タッチ情報はカーソルをリアルタイムに 動かすためだけに使われ、保存されることはありません。
• Nadepad はスマートフォンのカメラ・マイク・写真・ファイル・連絡先・メッセージ にはアクセスしません。

3. スマートフォンとPCの接続方式について

Nadepad は Android Debug Bridge（ADB）を通じてスマートフォンと通信します。 接続方式は2つあり、違いは「同じデータを何で運ぶか」だけです。

USB接続（標準）

通信はUSBケーブルの中で完結します。ネットワークは使用しません。

WiFi接続（任意）

WiFiを選んだ場合、同じデータがケーブルの代わりにローカルネットワーク（LAN）を 通ります。PCとスマートフォンが同じネットワーク上にある必要があります。

• タッチ座標はお客様のLAN内を通ります。インターネット、当社、クラウドサービス へは一切送信されません。
• Nadepad はお客様のPC上で待ち受けポートを一切開きません。待ち受けを行うのは、 スマートフォン側のAndroid標準のADBデーモンです。スマートフォンは、お客様が 許可したコンピューター（端末上で鍵を承認するか、ペアリングコードを入力したもの） からの接続のみを受け付けます。
• Android 11以降の「ワイヤレスデバッグ」でペアリングコードを使って接続した場合、 通信はTLSで保護されます。一方、USB接続をWiFiに切り替える方式で接続した場合、 通信は認証はされますが暗号化はされません。ご自身のネットワーク上を流れる他の 非暗号化通信と同様にお考えください。
• Nadepad は、最後に使用したWiFiの接続先を保存します。接続が切れた際に自動で 再接続するためです。またWiFiに切り替えると、スマートフォン側のワイヤレスADBが 有効になり、Nadepad を終了した後も有効なままになります。
• これらは、Nadepad のトレイメニュー「WiFi接続をやめる」から いつでも元に戻せます。保存した接続先を消して自動再接続を止め、スマートフォン側の ワイヤレスADBも無効に戻します。

4. スマートフォン側の専用アプリについて

Nadepad の使用中に、画面端からの「戻る」操作や通知シェードなどの誤操作が起きない よう、画面を点灯させたままタッチを吸収する小さな専用アプリ（「黒板」）を スマートフォンにインストールする場合があります。インストールは、確認 ダイアログでお客様が同意された場合にのみ行われます。

• この専用アプリは当社が開発したものです。Androidの権限を一切宣言しておらず、 ネットワーク機能を持たず、いかなるデータも収集しません。
• Nadepad のトレイメニュー「スマホ側アプリを削除」からいつでも削除できます。 また、この専用アプリを入れずに Nadepad を使い続けることもできます。

5. 第三者への提供

Nadepad は情報を収集しないため、第三者に提供するものがありません。

6. 同梱しているオープンソースソフトウェア

スマートフォンとの接続のため、Nadepad は Android Open Source Project の Android Debug Bridge（adb）を Apache License 2.0 のもとで同梱・再配布しています。 ADB は Nadepad がスマートフォンと通信するための伝送路であり、お客様の情報を当社や 第三者へ送信することはありません。

7. お子様のプライバシー

Nadepad は個人情報を収集しないため、年齢を問わず安全にご利用いただけます。

8. 本ポリシーの変更

本プライバシーポリシーを更新した場合、改訂版を本ページに掲載します。
